Choosing the right school is a big decision — and we aim to make the admissions process feel welcoming, clear and personal from your very first enquiry.
Leehurst Swan is structured into three phases — Lower, Middle and Upper — so that every child is supported in the way that suits their stage of development, learning and confidence.
We welcome applications for entry at any point (and not just at the “usual” joining years). Whether your child is moving school, relocating, or needs a better fit, we’ll guide you carefully and help them settle quickly and happily.
Our Registrar will guide you through the process and help you decide the best next step — whether that’s a visit, a taster day, or a conversation about availability.

Visit us
We offer Open Days and personal tours throughout the year. If you can’t make a published date, do get in touch — we’ll do our best to arrange an alternative.
Children join Leehurst Swan at many different times — start of year, mid-year, or after a change in circumstances.
When a child joins us outside the normal entry points, we make it straightforward and supportive:
- a warm, planned induction (not a “sink or swim” approach)
- thoughtful academic placement, based on what your child already knows (not just age)
- strong pastoral support to help friendships form quickly
- clear communication with you, so you always know how things are going
If a place is available, we’ll do everything we can to make the transition smooth.
