By 1975, the nuns were allowed to venture out of the school grounds and were able to wear secular dress.

Well done to Hugo in Year 4 who gained a gold meda

Well done to Hugo in Year 4 who gained a gold medal at the Solent Open Championship at the weekend.
Hugo got two really good, quick submissions to win gold and we are so proud of him! 🥋

On Sunday, three Leehurst Swan teams participated

On Sunday, three Leehurst Swan teams participated in the Knight Frank Schools triathlon at @bryanstonschool. Over 780 athletes took part in the event from over 30 schools. An incredible £58,000 was raised from the event for Relentless Development and 30+ other charities. Well done to all our pupils who competed!

One of our Year 4 parents commented:
"I wanted to share how well the teams represented our school. The Year 4 team competed extremely courageously across the three events, but I was most proud of the way that they looked after each other throughout the whole day, worked together to organise their tactics, and supported each other across the competition. Seeing them cross the finish line together was quite emotional!
As we approach the end of the school year, I feel they modelled many of the behaviours and values that you have worked so hard to instil - so thank you!"

Year 3 had a fabulous day yesterday! They travelle

Year 3 had a fabulous day yesterday! They travelled to the Tutankhamun Exhibition in Dorchester and enjoyed lunch in the park and an afternoon of studying the plants in the local area. 🇪🇬🌳

Year 4 have been hands on this week in the art dep

Year 4 have been hands on this week in the art department making Anglo-Saxon pottery using an individual coil method. They have spent time researching, designing and now creating.
These Anglo- Saxon pots are an example of the hands on, cross curricular learning that our pupils benefit from at Leehurst Swan every day! ☕️🦢

Last week, our athletes attended the first athletics meeting of the year at South Wilts Grammar School. It was a fantastic day with amazing results from our pupils. A special shout out must go to Daphne T, Year 7, who beat the record for Salisbury District for the 1200m run. The new record (created by Daphne) is now 4.33.35! Great work! 🏃‍♀️
