Registration

Whatever age your child is, applying for a place at a new school can sometimes be a daunting experience.  We aim to make the process from initial enquiry through to the very first day at school as simple, transparent and stress free as possible - in fact, more than that, we strive to make it an exciting time for everyone.

Applications for Entry into the Prep School

The aim of selecting children to join the Prep Department is to ensure that all pupils are able to cope in a class situation without individual teacher support. There may be children for whom additional support becomes necessary (dyslexics, for example) and this will be arranged with the agreement of the parents.

Children will be invited to spend a day in school during which time they will be assessed in reading, writing and numeracy skills.

Applications for Entry into the Senior School

Acceptance for entry into the Senior School is dependent upon performance in the Entrance Examination, a report from the candidate’s previous school and an interview.

Parents wishing their children to be considered for entry should complete a Registration Form and return it, together with the Registration Fee of £50 to the School.

The Entrance Examination will take place on a Saturday in January and consists of a Science paper, a Mathematics paper, and an English Paper.

All candidates will be called for interview within two weeks of the Examination.  Registration Fee of £50, to the School.
