This is an important part of your child’s education and aids the learning process. Supervised Prep is available for all KS2 children at school from 15.45 to 16.30 in homework club.
We pride ourselves on the high standard of pastoral care we provide. Our pupils develop into confident, independent young people who share our values of respect for others. The school encourages involvement in community service and the pupils participate in various fund-raising activities to help others less fortunate than themselves. We support local charities such as the Trussell Trust and In Jolly Good Company.
The choice of senior school is very important and parents are offered advice and encouragement concerning their child’s future. Pupils are prepared for the Senior School entrance examination and the 11+ examination to the grammar schools should parents wish. Many pupils make the transition into the next stage of their education at Leehurst Swan and families benefit by having all their children at one school.
The school provides a breakfast club service from 07.00 to 08.00 charged at £5.50.
Pupils can arrive at school from 08.00 ready for registration at 08.30. There is a homework club for that runs from 15.45 until 16.30 each day, supervised by the teaching staff. There is no charge for this service.
