Add this to your calendar - we look forward to seeing you
Leehurst Swan School is pleased to be hosting a Sixth Form Fair, bringing together 14 senior schools, sixth forms and further education colleges in one place. The event gives pupils and parents the opportunity to speak directly with representatives from each provider, ask questions about courses, entry requirements and student life, and gain a clear understanding of the different pathways available after GCSEs. The fair is designed to help families explore options confidently in a relaxed and informal setting.
What to expect
- Meet staff from a range of state and independent sixth forms and colleges
- Informal, drop-in conversations throughout the morning
- A chance to compare different approaches, subjects and expectations
- No presentations and no requirement to make decisions on the day
Who is the Sixth Form Fair for?
The fair is open to pupils and parents at any stage who are beginning to look ahead, whether choices feel imminent or are still some way off. Many families find it helpful to explore options early, without pressure, and to understand the range of possibilities available before decisions need to be made.
Why come? — for parents
For parents, the Sixth Form Fair is an opportunity to see a range of options side by side, speak directly to staff, and understand the differences between schools in terms of ethos, expectations and support. It allows families to gather information, ask questions and build confidence about future choices, without the time pressure of multiple individual visits.
Why come? — for pupils
For pupils, the fair is a chance to explore what comes next, hear directly from people who work in different schools, and start thinking about subjects, courses and pathways in a low-pressure way. There is no expectation to decide anything on the day — just an opportunity to look around, ask questions and begin forming ideas.
