Year 6 have been investigating the movement of light. To prove the fact that light travels in straight lines and also that the human eye sees the world upside down, Year 6 have been building and using pinhole cameras.
A pinhole camera is effectively a light-proof box with a small hole in one side. Light from a scene passes through the aperture and projects an inverted image on the opposite side of the box. This operates in the same way as the human eye.Go back
