Independent Co-Educational Day School
As part of our science curriculum enrichment, Wiltshire Wildlife Trust visited us on Friday. They provided pupils from Reception to Year 6 with some some exciting hands-on activities and workshops in our forest school garden, covering a range of environmental topics including sustainability.
Year R, 1 and 2 learnt about autumn and nocturnal animals. They learnt that because nocturnal animals come out when it’s dark, they have to be very good at working out what and where things are by smelling, touching and listening rather than looking. They played some games and activities to practise using these senses without using their eyes. They then used clay and natural items from the ground to make their own nocturnal animals.Go back
