Year 10 and Year 11 visited London on a cultural trip, taking in the wonderful artworks in the Tate Britain, with spectacular paintings and installations from the last 500 years to view and experience.

A quick visit to the Christmas market at Trafalgar Square preceded a visit to the beautiful Wyndham's Theatre to see an incredible production of our GCSE set text: "Life of Pi". With detailed and realistic puppetry, an intriguing set design and the use of clever lighting effects to conjure up Pi's time at sea, this was a breath-taking performance, which really brought the text to life for the students.
A tour of London's Christmas lights on the way home concluded the day perfectly!
