On Monday, Mrs Bateman hosted a whole school assembly where pupils from both the Prep and Senior departments presented on behalf of a variety of charities, one of which will become our school charity for the next two academic years.

The time and effort the children put into researching and preparing their presentations was outstanding and the passion in which they spoke was a delight to witness.

We are sure they found the whole experience quite daunting, but they managed their task with aplomb.

Pupils and staff have been voting throughout the week and we are pleased to announce that The Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary will be adopted as our school charity from September.

The Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary rescues homeless and unwanted donkeys, giving them a loving and forever home in the Wroxall valley on the Isle of Wight.

 

Well done to Mathew in Year 8, who gave a wonderful presentation.
