Ms Williams started her career in customer services, before moving into medical sales- a highlight of which was selling incubators into Special Care Baby Units. Following her disillusionment with the world of sales targets, she worked part-time in Learning Support whilst preparing for teacher training.

She loves studying and has two degrees, a Masters in Education and a PGCE and is currently trying to persuade her husband that she really needs an MA in Shakespeare Studies! When not at work, she loves reading, eating cake (preferably baked by someone else), going to the theatre and has recently embraced gardening, with various degrees of success at keeping the plants alive. She is definitely a cat person and has a huge soft spot for her Mini Cooper which she fusses over as if it were a small child.

Ms Williams has taught in a range of schools in Hampshire and Wiltshire, state and private, single and mixed sex, but already feels very settled at Leehurst Swan. Perhaps as she has a son in Leehurst Swan Prep school, her familiarity with the school, its ethos and its lovely, welcoming staff have enabled her to feel at home extremely quickly. She is proud to be part of the Leehurst family commenting that, “I already knew what a positive and enriching atmosphere the school has due to my son’s experiences, but I have been hugely impressed by the politeness and humour of the students, their keen interest in their studies and the engagement displayed in every aspect of their school lives!”
