Today, we celebrated the bounty of nature in our Harvest Festival Assembly!

 

It was a wonderful morning where the collection of food that will be donated to the Trussell Trust was displayed.

Our Year 6 children shared their knowledge of Harvest around the world with the rest of the school. Mrs Oldham then spoke about Harvest in the UK and the very important work the Trussell Trust carries out. We also heard the Prep Choir sing, which was their first performance of the academic year.

 

What a wonderful way to express our thanks and gratitude to everyone that helps Harvest happen every year.
