Year 3 had a really exciting day at Highclere Castle, home of the 8th Earl and Countess of Carnarvon. They discovered Tutankhamun's tomb, saw the coffin of a cat and dressed as Pharaohs. Pupils also had the opportunity to play in the Monk's garden.

Pupils learnt so much and thought the ancient artefacts were truly awesome. The trip provided an extraordinary insight into the Ancient Egyptian civilisation.
