Year 7/8 pupils enjoy Brittany
Tuesday, July 3, 2012
Year 7 and 8 students experienced life in Brittany. They visited the picturesque town of St Malo, the History Museum and walked around its impressive ramparts. Students also explored Mont St Michel with its narrow hill main streets and its stunning Abbey with magnificient views. On their last day, they visited Rennes with its cobbled stone streets and enjoyed a bit of shopping in Dinard.
The pupils enjoyed participating in the various activities such as buying crêpes for lunch, choosing fruits at the St Servan market, speaking French for the quizzes. They also had time for a splash in the sea at the end of each day where all enjoyed the beautiful wide beaches of Brittany. The trip was a success and both staff and pupils thoroughly enjoyed it.
