The New Playground
Tuesday, September 15, 2009
A new play facility has been constructed over the summer holidays to provide exciting all weather play and an outdoor learning area for the pupils, including a story telling area, nature walk, and an outdoor performance stage.
Poems the children have written:
The New Playground shaped like a double ice-cream. Butterflies chasing each other Clematis flowers winding up a vine Spotty mushroom bins Football nets Netball baskets With a fresh blue sky A yellow sun A golden wood summerhouse With wooden benches insideby Alexandra Thomas Year 5x
The beautiful playground with the big green stage The egg shaped stage beautiful flourish plants. A long curving path leading to the tennis court An open view of the house the golden frame of the summer house Two dancing butterflies in the playground.by Tara King 5x
The New Playground is shaped like an eight. There is a black gazebo with all lovely plants twisiting around the edges. Curly rusty path leading to the tennis courts Autumn leaves falling off the trees. The green lush grass shining in the sunlight The trees blowing in the breeze The fresh blue sky The golden sun shining upon us. The mushroom bin standing in the shade. The black shadows dancing in the distance. I love the new playground!by Hattie Cuff 5x
