Pre-School 20th Birthday Celebrations

La Retraite Swan Pre-school pupils celebrated their 20th Birthday this year. It is 20 years since the school opened its doors to 2 – 4 year olds and have invited Esther Rantzen OBE, to share it with them. Esther Rantzen is the Chair of Childline and they too have their 20th Birthday Appeal this year.

The children of La Retraite Swan presented a cheque for £450 to Childline which they raised when they took part in the Childline Pedal Push. The children were sponsored to pedal or ride around a small course, which they thoroughly enjoyed and gave them a chance to help other children less fortunate than themselves.
