Leehurst Swan School

Our first game and it showed.  The opposition were much better at quickly attacking and defending.  Very hard scrummaging so they quickly ran in 2 tries.   Then we settled down and started to become a ‘team’ supporting one another better.  We started winning the line-outs and loose balls.  End of first half 3 tries to them.

In the 2nd half we played much better, winning all forward play and passing in the backs.  Better tackling when defending.  They scored 1 more try then Jeremy Westcott kicked, ran 30m, picked up the loose ball and scored our first.  We kept up the pressure and scored in the last minute of the game.
