Dear All,

The scene was set on last Friday evening, as the two teams valiantly competed for the prize Trophy to be crowned Skittles Champions 2011.

After a titanic struggle with the FOLS taking an impressive early lead in the first leg (despite a minimum contribution from their Captain, who had

never played before, and skillfully with one shot managed to bounce a ball over the Skittles missing them entirely).

However, after a short break for Dinner – the Staff rallied in the second  leg(probably fuelled by the sugar rush from pudding) and actually took the lead for  the first time in the match. But it was not to be their fifth victory in a row, as the FOLS brilliantly re-took the lead with only minutes to spare and secured their place in the Skittles history books (if there are any?). Anyway, a good time was had by all and the Staff were gracious in defeat,and are probably already planning their come back next year.
