Leehurst Swan School

60 athletes from Salisbury went to race near Chippenham on Saturday morning. They were competing with the best from all other schools in the county.

On the team representing Leehurst was: Year 7: Ben Quigley and Anna Lever, and from Year 9: Danielle Scott. All performed very well on a cold and very soggy course.

Congratulations to them all the runners from every school in Salisbury.

We must say a big well done to Anna who came 6^th and so will represent Wiltshire at the S.W championships in Truro in Cornwall on sat 27^th February.

AND another big well done to Danielle who came 7^th and so will also represent Wiltshire at the S.W championships in Truro in Cornwall on sat 27^th February. She will also be invited to run at the national championships in Manchester on Sat’ 20^th March.
