Leehurst Swan School

The children of Leehurst Swan Pre-prep  invited Rev. Morris Munns back into school with his friend Captain Pugwash on Wednesday 1^st July at 10.00am to launch the new ‘Pirate Boat’.  The children with their parents renovated it back to its glory.  The children took the lead with the designing.  This included a visit to Salisbury Library and invited many old pirate story-tellers to their school to help with their research.

The children have named the boat ‘Ubi carritas’ which was suggested by Max Sandford Hart, age 5 which is part of the school motto and means ‘where there is charity’

The children wish to thank Rev. Munns for giving them this opportunity and all their parents who helped with the tricky bits.
