Leehurst Swan School

18 pupils at Leehurst Swan celebrated their success in the 11+ examinations. All 18 have secured places at the grammar schools. The headmaster, Roger Leake said “I am delighted with their success and congratulate the pupils and the staff who taught them, on their achievements. This year, 46% of Leehurst Swan Year 6 pupils have been offered a place at the grammar schools. In these days of recession, parents appreciate the need for a first class education in order to achieve 11+ success. These pupils have also achieved in Music, Art, Sport, and are shortly due to go on a week of Adventure training. A first class education is more than academic success, although this is an integral part of all we strive to do at Leehurst Swan.
